SCRATCH THAT {Brand New Introduction!}

Hellllo blogging world! First off let me say I am SO excited to finally have my very own personal blog, Nope, This isn't my first blog but it's my first one here on blogspot. I was recently married and have a Wedding blog where I chronicled all these tedious wedding DIY projects. The site had a wonderful group of girls though that were very supportive and inspiring, I enjoyed blogging so much, I wanted to keep the trend goin' with a blog about my very own life and the fact that I am now a Rookie Wife. I promise I won't mind if you skim through this post or only read the interesting parts!

I am a 23 year old newlywed, I have an AWESOME son who means the world to me. Seriously. Everything I do is for him. I love volunteering at his school, doing homework, playing football, baking and going to the movies with him! Being a Mom is the most AMAZING thing in the world. I can't imagine life without kids and can't wait to have more! The Husband is ready now, but I've decided to wait about a year or two until we get our new home finished and go on out (obviously belated) Honeymoon. I.LOVE.FOOTBALL. I am a Freelance Sports Writer and besides spending time with my family I enjoy nothing more then talking sports, or writing about them. Although I am still writing, I have put my education on hold to raise my son and be a Stay at Home Mom. I am so thankful to be able to do this! I love Football, The Beach, Christmas, Baking, Reading, Writing, Decorating, Organizing, Scrapbooking, Shopping (DUH!), Finding great deals, Strawberry Margaritas, Laughing, Spending time with my family and of course, Blogging!

I love the whole 1950's era and wish we could all transport back into time.

My Husband and I just bought our first home and we are SO excited about it! We have lived with my Mom for 9 years and it's time to leave The Nest and build our own.(We've been together since High School!) I am quite the homebody and believe that a home really is the 'happy place', This particular one is a huge fixer upper though, and requires a lot of work, but my Hubs is a Contractor so it's what he does for a living, he's taking care of all the hard stuff while I get to paint and decorate. Lucky me! I hope to chronicle all of our process right here on this blog!! I'm so excited to compare the Before & Afters and have already had so much inspiration from this site!

I really have no idea if I have time for this blog or if I'll be able to keep it up, I just look at sooo many other blogs  everyday and I always think, I can totally do this stuff. Even if nobody reads this, hopefully it will inspire me to start and finish projects!
Well, enough about me, I want to hear about YOU! Are there any tips you guys can offer me on home renovation process? Decorating tips?
